2CD Remastered Edition Gathering Both Of Mick Abrahams' Solo Albums Originally Released By Chrysalis Records In 1971 And 1972. A founder member of Jethro Tull, Mick Abrahams departed this band after the release of their debut album 'This Was' and formed the group Blodwyn Pig, a band who recorded two successful hit albums in 1969 and 1970. By the end of this year Abrahams departed the band he founded to pursue a career as a solo artist. His successful eponymous debut solo album was released by Chrysalis Records in 1971 and featured Bob Sargeant (organ, piano, vocals), Walt Monaghan (bass, vocals) and Ritchie Dharma (drums) who soon became known as The Mick Abrahams Band. In 1972 The Mick Abrahams Band released the album 'At Last' and were joined by former Blodwyn Pig saxophone and woodwind player Jack Lancaster. Although a fine album, the band broke up soon after it's release.
